We are presently busy servicing Sunningdale Phase 9c which has a total of 149 SR Erven. The General Residential site within Phase 9c, referred to as "Barrington Place", is presently being subdivided and will constitute the next Breckenridge Village (168 Erven). It will have 140 Erven, similar to that of Breckenridge.
Sunningdale Phase 9c's civil engineering servicing cost totals R 14,442,035.85 (Incl. Contingencies & VAT) and the electrical contract amount is R 3,652,146.90 (Incl. Contingencies & VAT).
Barrington's servicing cost will be somewhat less due to the size of the erven and we estimate roughly an amount of R 10,000,000 (Incl. Contingencies & VAT) for the Civil Services. The electrical engineering services is estimated at R 2,200,000 (Incl. Contingencies & VAT).
Phase 9b's servicing and electrical work is programmed to commence this November and planned completion is November 2012. This phase adds an additional 238 Erven.
A R26.5 million sports complex has been Garden Cities on the west coast at its growing suburb Sunningdale. The spectacular hall is able to accommodate provincial and national competitions in sports that include indoor hockey and football, basketball, netball and badminton.
Garden Cities' Operations Manager Renier Smith said the sports complex and the hall represented the company's commitment to its mission to develop not only residential accommodation but also functional communities, with the facilities that residents need. The sports complex is in an area of Sunningdale where a hospital, shopping centre, school and other major infrastructure has been provided.
